• Review common and leadership responsibilities.
• Obtain necessary equipment, communications and supplies.
• Perform FOBS responsibilities to include but not limited to the following: perimeters of incident, locations of trouble spots, weather conditions hazards, progress of operations resources and safety hazards. Coordinate with OPS.
• Verify information displayed on Situation Map and contained in the Resource Summary or Form 204s as requested by the SITL.
• Be prepared to identify all facility locations (e.g., helispots, division and branch boundaries).
• Report information to the SITL by established procedure.
• Report immediately any condition observed that may cause danger and a safety hazard to personnel.
• Gather intelligence that will lead to accurate predictions.
• Maintain Form 214a Individual Log and forward to DOCL for disposition.
