Approximately 30 minutes
Purpose
- Present the IAP to the Operations Section oncoming shift supervisors and other Command & General Staff personnel.
- After briefing has occurred and during shift change, outgoing supervisors should be interviewed by their relief and by Operations Section Chief (OSC) to confirm accomplishments and validate work assignments.
Agenda
- Discuss the new IAP with incoming field operations personnel.
- Provide opportunity for field personnel to gain clarity regarding objectives, work assignments, resources necessary, support issues, and safety and/or environmental considerations for the next operational period.
- Provide opportunity for Command & General Staff to provide clarification to field personnel regarding critical management issues.
