Purpose

  1. To communicate periodic critical updates regarding the incident and status of ongoing operations and planned activities. This feedback is critical to provide situational awareness, status on key information, operational support, and allow IMT to adjust current and future planned actions. This information is continuously gathered from various sources, including Field Observers, debriefs, stakeholders, etc.

Meeting Agenda

- Status reports

  1. Safety update on incident operations and related activities.
  2. Situation update (current operations, weather, etc.).
  3. Review overall incident and strategic objectives and status.
  4. Provide any critical update/information.
  5. Review action items (Form 233).
  6. Conduct round robin of Command (Officers) & General (Chiefs) Staff members and other key functions to provide:
  7. Summary of priorities/review any new action items.
  8. Determine/communicate time for next meeting/briefing.
