Purpose
- Execution of the IAP should be primarily directed by the Operations Section to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
- Progress assessment is on-going and used to adjust/optimize current operations and inform Planning for the next operational period planning process.

Critical Work Activities
- Operations Section directs implementation of the plan.
- All Command & General Staff shall review the incident progress and make recommendations to the IC/UC in prep. for the next Command Objectives Meeting.
- Operations field supervisors/leaders should communicate plan successes and recommended revisions for the next operational period IAP through the OSC. a Supervisors may reallocate resources within their assignment to adapt to changing conditions. All changes should be communicated to the OSC as necessary.
- IC/UC encourages Command & General Staff to get out of the ICP and view first hand the areas of the incident they are supporting.
