Purpose
- Appropriate IMT members must immediately complete the assigned task/products that are needed for inclusion in, and/or approval of, the IAP. These products must meet the deadline set by the PSC so that Planning can assemble the IAP components.
- The deadline must be early enough to permit timely Incident Commander/ Unified Command (IC/UC) review, approval, and duplication of sufficient copies for the Operations Briefing and other IMT members.

Critical Work Activities
- Ensure IAP and supporting plans are finalized and incorporate any changes identified in the Planning Meeting.
- Set time to meet with IC/UC to review changes to IAP and gain approval of IAP (with IC/UC signatures) for Operations Briefing.
- Make appropriate number of copies of IAP for Operations Briefing.
- Utilize IAP Approval Checklist in Section 9.
