Check-In/Status Recorder (SCKN)

The Check-In/Status Recorders (SCKN) are needed at each check-in location to ensure that all resources assigned to an incident are accounted for.

  • Review common and leadership responsibilities.
  • Obtain required work materials, including Form 211 Check-In Lists, Form 219 Resource Status Cards, and status display boards.
  • Post signs so arriving resources can easily find incident check-in location(s).
  • Record check-in information on Form 211 Check-In Lists.
  • Transmit check-in information to the Resource Unit Leader (RESL).
  • Forward completed Form 211 Check-In and Form 210 Status Change to the RESL.
  • Receive, record, and maintain resource status information on Form 219 Resource Status Cards for incident-assigned tactical resources, and overhead personnel.
  • Maintain files of Form 211 Check-In Lists.
  • Maintain Form 214a Individual Log and forward to DOCL for disposition.
