Environmental Unit Leader

Responsibilities

The Environmental Unit Leader (ENVL) is responsible for environmental matters associated with the response, including strategic assessment, modeling, surveillance, sensitive area identification, and environmental monitoring and permitting. The ENVL may be staffed or co-staffed by an agency representative as required by state policy or the Incident Commander/Unified Command (IC/UC).
