• Review common and leadership responsibilities.
• Receive initial briefing from Facilities Unit Leader (FACL), Support Branch Director (SUBD) or Logistics Section Chief (LSC).
• Establish contacts with law enforcement, as required.
• Ensure facility and personnel security requirements are met.
• Develop Security Plan for incident facilities.
• Coordinate with Intelligence Officer (INTO), as appropriate, to ensure the safety and security of incident facilities.
• Contact the Division/Group Supervisor (DIVS) for crews or Agency Representatives (AREPs) to discuss any special custodial requirements that may affect operations.
• Request required personnel support to accomplish work assignments.
• Ensure security of classified material and systems.
• Ensure that support personnel are qualified to manage security systems.
• Adjust Security Plan for personnel and equipment.
• Coordinate security activities with appropriate incident personnel.
• Keep the peace, prevent assaults, and settle disputes.
• Prevent theft of all government and personal property.
• Document all complaints and suspicious occurrences.
• Maintain Form 214a Individual Log and forward to Documentation Unit Leader (DOCL) for disposition.
