• Review common and leadership responsibilities.
• Receive initial briefing from SPUL, Support Branch Director (SUBD) or Logistics Section Chief (LSC).
• Obtain necessary organization(s) order forms.
• Participate in Logistics Section/Support Branch planning activities.
• Establish ordering procedures.
• Set-up filing system.
• Obtain roster of incident personnel who have ordering authority.
• Obtain list of previously ordered resources to determine the type and amount of resources enroute to the incident.
• Receive and fulfill requests for personnel, supplies and equipment.
• Establish list of names and phone numbers of persons receiving orders.
• Review the IAP for information on operations of the Supply Unit.
• Develop and implement safety and security requirements for equipment/supplies storage areas/facilities.
• Identify times and locations for delivery of supplies and equipment.
• Order, receive, consolidate, distribute and store supplies and equipment.
• Identify and resolve duplication of orders.
• Keep Receiving and Distribution Manager (RCDM) informed.
• Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Complete Form 210 Status Change Form and submit to Resource Unit when equipment and significant supplies are deployed from storage.
• Service reusable equipment.
• Obtain a daily staffing report and provide information to the LSC and Resource Unit Leader (RESL).
• Submit all ordering documents to the Documentation Control Unit through the SPUL before demobilizing.
• Maintain Form 214a Individual Log and forward to Documentation Unit Leader (DOCL) for disposition.
