• Review common and leadership responsibilities.
• Obtain a briefing from the Finance Section Chief (FSC).
• Coordinate with business unit/organization management on cost reporting procedures.
• Collect and record all cost data.
• Develop incident cost summaries.
• Prepare resources-use cost estimates for the Planning Section.
• Make cost-saving recommendations to the FSC.
• Ensure all cost documents are accurately prepared.
• Maintain cumulative incident cost records.
• Ensure all cost documentation captures all costs associated with the incident.
• Coordinate with Time Unit Leader (TIME) to ensure all personnel and equipment are captured in cost documentation.
• Coordinate with the Procurement Unit Leader (PROC) and Supply Unit Leader (SPUL) to ensure all obligations are entered in financial recording software.
• Complete account reconciliations as required by current Incident Commander/Unified Command (IC/UC) financial policies.
• Complete all records prior to demobilization.
• Provide reports to the FSC.
• Maintain Form 214a Individual Log and forward to Documentation Unit Leader (DOCL) for disposition.
